Scripture

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. - Romans 12:10-13 (NKJV)

Fantastic News!

Hello all!
We have some wonderful news to share with you!  We have been granted two year visas!  We look forward to all the Lord has for us and CCBI in the next few years.

The semester has been one of stretching and growth!  Andrew has been teaching Missions on Tuesday mornings and leading a Bible study on the Pastoral Epistles on Monday nights for the guys.

About once a month he also has the blessing of teaching Theology on Monday afternoons and the same week teach at our Koinonia service.  I love watching God prove over and over that He is sufficient in our weakness, our tiredness, and our very lives.

I have been helping with the registrar duties and serving the pastoral team.  I've had the opportunity to help with the ladies Bible study on Monday nights as they go through the book, "Calm My Anxious Heart" by Linda Dillow.  There are some pretty powerful quotes that I will share in a separate update.  Look for that in a few days.

School will be coming to a close in a few weeks.  Please be praying with us for our graduates as they move forward into the calling God has placed on their lives.  Pray for our interns who will also be graduating as they have to make decisions for their next steps.  Pray for those students who are returning, that God would provide for their every need.  Pray for students who are moving on beyond CCBI, that God would give them wisdom for the decisions that they have to make.  Transitions and change can be daunting, but God has promised to never leave us, nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6)

We look forward to sharing with you all of the great things that happen at the end of the semester... Ladies tea, Guys night out, Graduation dinner, Graduation, and the hugs and loves as we send the students on their merry way.  More to come about those events in about 3 or 4 weeks.

Here are a couple of images at the Lodge:

Sunsets are amazing here!
Again, I will be sharing some great quotes from the book, "Calm My Anxious Heart" in the coming days.

We love you and appreciate you!

  3. Andrew and Dawn. God bless all that you are doing there in NZ from Calvary Chapel Aurora. I was also very blessed to visit beautiful NZX in June 2016 but was not able to stop by and say hello.
